Blowfish Warranty
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR BLOWFISH SMOKE BLOWERS
Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions (“Manufacturer”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) that each Blowfish Smoke Blower shall be free from defects in material and workmanship for a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase. During the warranty period, Manufacturer will, at its sole option, repair or replace any Smoke Blower or component part that, upon examination at the factory, is determined to be defective in material or workmanship.
1. Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty applies only to Blowfish Smoke Blowers purchased new from an authorized distributor or directly from Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions. Warranty coverage includes:
- Motor (unless otherwise noted)
- Housing and blower assembly
- Hose
- Electrical components
- Internal mechanical parts
- Factory-installed fittings and connectors
2. Exclusions — What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
This Limited Warranty does not apply to damage or failure resulting from:
- Accident, abuse, misuse, or neglect
- Improper operation or failure to follow Manufacturer’s instructions
- Normal wear items and consumable components, including damage to threaded fittings or adapters caused by wear, overtightening, improper installation, or cross-threading
- Unauthorized repair, modification, or tampering
- Failure to perform routine maintenance
- Exposure to corrosive, caustic, or harmful environments
- Use with incompatible accessories or third-party components
- Use of incorrect smoke consumables
- Use of smoke consumables not manufactured or approved by Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions Consumable items such as smoke pellets and smoke fluids are not covered under this Warranty.
3. Consumables Policy — Incorrect or Third-Party Consumables (Warranty Void)
To ensure proper performance and safety, only consumables manufactured or expressly approved by Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions may be used with Blowfish Smoke Blowers.
The Warranty is void in full if:
- The Purchaser uses smoke fluid, smoke pellets, or any other consumable not supplied or approved by Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions
- The Purchaser uses the incorrect grade or type of smoke fluid specified for their blower
- The Purchaser uses modified, altered, or repackaged consumables of any kind
Important Note:
Using the wrong type of smoke fluid or unapproved consumables can cause irreversible blower failure, including motor seizure, internal corrosion, clogging, overheating, and electrical damage. Incorrect consumables can also cause damage to the plumbing system being tested or be a safety hazard. Such damage is not covered and will void the Warranty in its entirety.
4. Transportation & Shipping Costs
All transportation, shipping, and handling costs associated with sending units or parts to Manufacturer for warranty evaluation, repair, or replacement are the sole responsibility of the Purchaser.
The Purchaser is also responsible for all return shipping costs, including standard and expedited shipping, regardless of whether the warranty claim is approved.
Manufacturer assumes no responsibility for damage, loss, or delays incurred during shipment to or from the Manufacturer.
5. Warranty Limitations
This Limited Warranty is the exclusive warranty provided by Manufacturer.
Manufacturer expressly disclaims:
- All other warranties, express or implied
- Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Any liability for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages
No agent, distributor, or third party is authorized to modify this Limited Warranty or make any representation or promise on behalf of Manufacturer.
6. Inspection & Determination
Upon receipt, Manufacturer will:
- Inspect the blower
- Determine whether the defect is due to materials/workmanship or excluded causes
- Advise Purchaser of findings
- Perform repair or replacement at Manufacturer’s option
Repairs or replacements do not extend or restart the original warranty period.
7. Warranty Start Date
Warranty coverage begins on the date of purchase shown on the original sales receipt. Proof of purchase is required for all warranty claims.
8. Entire Agreement
This Limited Warranty constitutes the full and complete warranty offered by Manufacturer for Blowfish Smoke Blowers. No other written or oral warranties apply.
9. To submit a warranty claim for a Blowfish Blower:
- Photograph visible defects and record blower’s serial number.
- Obtain your purchase receipt or other proof of purchase.
- Submit warranty claim by filling out the form at this link.
LIMITED WARRANTY FOR BLOWFISH SMOKE CONSUMABLES
(Smoke Pellets and Plumbing Smoke Fluid)
Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions (“Manufacturer”) warrants to the original purchaser (“Purchaser”) that all Blowfish smoke consumables are free from defects in material and workmanship at the time of purchase.
Because consumables are used under varying conditions, this Limited Warranty covers replacement only at the time of purchase for products found to be defective prior to use.
1. Warranty Coverage
This Limited Warranty applies only to:
- Blowfish smoke pellets
- Blowfish plumbing smoke fluid
Coverage is limited to Manufacturing defects evident prior to use.
Manufacturer may, at its sole option, replace the product or issue a refund of the purchase price.
Consumables do not carry a performance warranty once opened or used.
2. Exclusions — What the Warranty Does NOT Cover
This Limited Warranty does not apply to consumables that are:
- Used, partially used, or depleted
- Improperly stored, including storage in conditions that are not cool, dry, and protected from moisture, temperature extremes, or direct sunlight
- Damaged due to contamination, freezing, overheating, or chemical exposure
- Mixed with other fluids, agents, or chemicals
- Used in equipment not manufactured or approved by Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions
- Used in a blower for which they were not designed.
Warranty does not cover:
- Performance issues resulting from improper storage or use
- Any equipment damage caused by incorrect or non-approved consumables
- Any incidental, consequential, or indirect losses
3. Warranty Limitations
Manufacturer expressly disclaims:
- All other warranties, express or implied
- Any implied warranty of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
- Liability for incidental, consequential, or indirect damages
No agent, distributor, or representative is authorized to modify this Limited Warranty.
4. Entire Agreement
This Limited Warranty constitutes the complete and exclusive warranty applicable to Blowfish smoke consumables.
5. Consumable Warranty Claims
To submit a warranty claim for a Blowfish consumable:
- Do not dispose of the product.
- Photograph defective product and record lot or batch number (if applicable).
- Obtain your purchase receipt or other proof of purchase.
- Submit a Service Request at this link.
Do not return a consumable unless specifically requested.
Returns
Blowfish Smoke Test Solutions accepts returns for approved warranty claims and repair orders only. All other sales are final.
Inspection Fee: A $50 inspection fee will be charged for evaluating blowers returned for repair (outside of warranty). If you choose to proceed with the recommended repair, the inspection fee will be credited toward the repair cost.
Before returning any Blowfish Product:
- Review the Warranty Policy
- Locate the serial number on the blower and obtain your purchase receipt.
- Submit a Service Request at this link.
- Upon Approval, an RMA number will be assigned and a RMA form will be emailed to you.
- Follow the shipping instructions on the RMA form.
- Units returned without RMA authorization will be refused.
Important Safety Requirement for Returns
Any blower powered by gasoline or another combustible fuel must have all fuel and oil fully drained before shipment. Blowers that use liquid as a consumable must also be fully drained before shipment. Failure to comply will result in refusal of delivery.
