3-Minute Encased Smoke Pellets
The premium high-output option, this "encased" smoke pellet delivers a full 3 minute burn with dense, high-quality smoke and exceptional hang time. A protective case helps shield surrounding surfaces, reduce residue, and support a more controlled burn. Designed for larger systems and extended testing applications, 3-Minute Encased Smoke Pellets are the recommended long-duration consumable for P-Series Smoke Blowers.
Choosing the Right Smoke Pellet
Not all smoke tests require the same smoke pellet. Selecting the right pellet comes down to burn time, smoke volume, application and environment.
Use 90-Second Encased Smoke Pellets for general plumbing smoke testing, leak detection, airflow diagnostics, and applications where controlled smoke output is preferred.
Use 3-Minute Encased Smoke Pellets for very large systems and situations where maximum smoke volume and long duration output is important.
It is often a good idea to use a shorter duration smoke pellet first and go to a longer duration pellet only if needed. In general, we recomend using the least amount of smoke neccessary for any given smoke test.

Both pellet options feature a protective casing that helps reduce residue, protect surrounding surfaces, and support a more controlled, even burn.
No matter the application—plumbing smoke testing, chimney and flue inspection, rodent entry detection, or airflow visualization—using a dependable, professional-grade smoke pellet helps ensure consistent output, better visibility, and more reliable test results. Blowfish Encased Smoke Pellets are built to deliver performance professionals can count on in the field.
